Paradise Hills (2019)
‘Paradise Hills’ is made up of a lot of female talent, whether we refer to its architects or talk about the value of Emma Robers’ character. But it is wasted as soon as we see that it gloats in very adapted stories and we are tired of seeing nothing more than resorting to the most threshed script turns. Its protagonist does not act badly, has charisma and moves well between such a grotesque and pigmented island. But the acting technique or behind the camera are not the catch, because we also find good shots. In conclusion, just a striking aesthetic is not enough.
